impact Now is a series of Mentoring Sessions for young men ages 12-17. Young black men are under attack like never before. They face challenges daily from life, to peers, to family, the streets and more. They must make decisions most of us didn’t have to make until later in life.

The Bible declares that if you train up a child when it is old it will not depart; (Proverbs 22:6) the word train up means to hook up or connect. Think of a natural train: all of the cars are connected and hooked together on their way to the same destination. We as men must connect ourselves to these young men and take them to the destination. We may have different stops along the way, we may start in different cities, but we should be heading to the same destination which should be our individual purposes defined by God.
